25. HTML page titles are explanatory

Overall I find Ford’s website to be extremely easy to use. The accessibility of the website is a strong point. Regardless if it is product information or corporate information, the appropriate links are easy to locate. The flash and add-ons utilized on their website are not over the top and are conveniently located near the bottom of the page. These features do enough to get your attention without distracting you from the content you are trying to view. Other positive notes include: prominently place company logo; a reasonable number of buttons/links; clear and descriptive headline; and unobtrusive ads and pop-ups. Additionally the website the imagery, fonts, and colors were easy on the eyes with a more than adequate text-to-background contrast. Ford even has a “custom not-found 404 page” that has links for whatever information you would like about the company. Overall, I find Ford’s website very useful and easy to navigate. Whether I want product information or research material for my Finance 3103, locating it is not an issue. Ford has taken the necessary steps to provide their customers with a website that is informative, as well as, professional, sleek, and simplistic.

  1. James,

I would have to agree, I rather enjoy Ford.com. I do feel like they could make some of the buttons like the dealer locator or the incentive finder a bit more prevalent, though.

I do feel they have the best "vehicle builder" of all the "big three," though. It''s very … fluid.

    Good post!

  2. Well Joshua that is a matter of opinion, i myself is a GM Girl. But all sites rather it's GM, Ford, or Chrysler they all want to sale the product and i think that it depends on what you like, and even if the site is not all it should be you would still stick with what you like. As i said i am a GM girl and they can make a website with 2% font and i would just take my happy self to the dealership. But good job. Always enjoy your posts.
